Tart & Tasty Homemade Cranberry Sauce
Driving by flooded cranberry fields on road trips through Wisconsin is a strong childhood memory for me. It seems most people are not aware of how cranberries are even grown and harvested. You should really check it out. cranberry growing is kind of fascinating. I also have plenty of memories of that cylindrical red blob of goo known as the canned cranberries my grandmother always insisted on for Thanksgiving. I have to wonder why it needed to be those awful canned jello-y cranberries when we had locally grown fresh ones available. Hhmmm.
I think people who dislike cranberry sauce should consider making their own. It will definitely change some minds. Plus, there are so many things to make with those leftover cranberries. Start with a sauce like the one listed above!

Gluten Free Cranberry Cheesecake Muffins
So tart. So good. And the best part is each recipe is made with REAL fresh cranberries.
