If you live in the south-central region of Minnesota, come join us in supporting our local art scene! Starving Artist is a site-specific art experience event that raises funds for Twin Rivers.
This event will be interactive and host several artistic experiences. There will be metal pouring, glass blowing, art installations, live performances, music performances, aerial acts, body painting, mural creation, and more. All taking place under a bridge.
2019 Art Experiences include:
Miss Aliya Mukamuri, Metal Pour with Greg Mueller, DJ CNDRM, Aerial Affinity, Live art demos by Matthew Harding, Tice VanderHeiden & Daniel Tapia, Art installations by Shelley Caldwell, Brittney Wegener & Liz Stensland, Glass Blowing with Dustin Swiers, Salsa Mankato, Mankato Children’s Chorus, Satori Violet, Body Painting with Vanessa Vega, Interactive Projection Mapping with Taylor Burks, Participatory mural with Justin Ek, and others.
I will be there, not as an artist, but as a volunteer with the Mankato Area Roller Derby League. However, as a local artist, I do encourage you to come and support the event.
