Cantaloupe Strawberry Mint Smoothie.
Have a lot of mint growing in the yard? Or just fresh mint leftover from mojito night? Instead of letting it mold in the fridge, toss it in a smoothie!
Cantaloupe Strawberry Mint Smoothie
- 3 large fresh strawberries
- 1 cup chopped fresh cantaloupe
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 spring fresh mint
- 1.4-1/2 cup water
Place all ingredients together in blender. Blend ingredients on high until smooth. There will be little bit of visible green from the mint leaves.
The subtle flavours of the fresh mint add a refreshing kick to the smoothie and a dose of micro nutrients. A smoothie is a great way to use up herbs that have wilted and lost there crispness.
