Squeezing In Those Last Park Days (Sponsored)
Our Autumn up here has been unseasonably warm, considering snow often happens in October. I’m not complaining seeing as Fall is my favorite season and winter can take it’s sweet time getting here.
We spent our day running errands and getting a Halloween costume four our four year old. I had visions of a cute puppy costume or a fuzzy bunny. He had other ideas and picked out a psychotic killer clown mask. Boys! My husband is already planning all the other uses for the psycho clown mask, all of which involve giving me a stroke in the middle of the night.
We rounded out the weekend with more wholesome activities involving pumpkins and playing at the park. Baby Mory is seven weeks old and just getting into the jogging stroller scene with our other daughter.

After making sure the stroller was well stocked with water and string cheese, we bundled up and headed out. Mory usually likes being swaddled up all snug, so she kept warm in a JJ Cole BundleMe.
My first child has always run hot, so I often took him out in just a little fleece jacket, but my girls get chilly and I needed other solutions. Having a September baby this time around has been nice since we can get some stroller time in before the snow gets too deep! Getting out and about with baby in cool weather really is more convenient with a BundleMe.
The JJ Cole BundleMe Urban has velcro openings in the back to allow stroller straps through in various positions. It works in our Graco double stroller as well as our Baby Jogger City Elite stroller. The soft fleece and insulated material is comfortable and warm. It is like a cushy sleeping bag just for the stroller. What I love about the BundleMe is that it stays put. No losing a baby blanket or constantly retucking. The side zippers allow for different levels of warm coverage, so sporadic weather changes are no trouble. I love long walks, so it is nice that I can keep the kids comfortable enough for a few hours.
Of course, the older kids want to be at the park as long as possible, so keeping the baby cozy is a must. I think my two year old would love a toddler BundleMe.
Now that the days are getting short, outings are limited since it gets pretty chilly when the sun goes down. And by chilly, I mean below freezing. It is nice that we can get a bit more out of the season with a BundleMe. Maybe I’ll finally get to a football game!
