This one is a no-brainer really. We all know how to put together a taco. You have your tortillas and your salsas or hot sauces. Then get your fixings. Lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese of choice. Although if you want to go more authentic, you would skip the lettuce and cheese. But, this is the Midwest, so I will save the good ethnic food for when we meander over to Eat Street. Really though, taco night at our house is just an excuse to dump Cholula hot sauce all over our dinner. That stuff is good on pizza too. And salad. when I was breastfeeding my son, I ate so much Cholula, he ended up with an affinity for hot and spicy food when he was still under a year old. But, that’s not the pint.
I really am only bringing up pulled pork tacos since I briefly talked about them in my pulled pork recipe. So if you missed that one, check it out and give the spicy taco meat version a try.
Just posting this is making me want to eat some right now, but I already told Husband I wanted Szechuan takeout for dinner. If only my pregnancy cravings revolved around steamed broccoli and celery sticks.
I’ve recently decided to add pork back into our diet. We haven’t been avoiding it, it’s just never on my list. I’m definitely adding these to my taco Tuesday menu rounds though, they look delish! Pinned 🙂
We were never really pork eaters either since we were vegetarian for so long. I was nervous to cook it at first, but it is not too hard so long as you don’t over cook it. Hope it works out for you!
