As a picky mom who strives to be mostly eco-friendly, I am always on the lookout for ‘green” products for kids. While I do make a lot of my own body care items, there is not always time or energy, so I am glad product lines like TruKid exist. I recently had a chance to try the new TruKid Hero Stick, a healing balm for ouchies and skin irritations.
My nine month old daughter has recently had a poor reaction to a new diaper detergent along with some chafing from an over-stuffed night time diaper, so I was excited to try the Hero Stick on her dry, red skin. The Hero Stick glides on smoothly and leaves a non-greasy film protecting the skin.

I love that the Hero Stick is in a stick applicator. Applying balm to the skin is as easy as using a glue stick or lip balm, without getting on my hands. Hero Stick is for use on bug bites, cuts, scrapes, dryness, and mild skin irritations. Being November in Minnesota, we don’t have to deal with mosquitoes anymore, but both of my kids and myself have eczema, so the hero Stick comes in handy for dry cheeks and rough patches. I even have applied it to my crows feet as a moisturizer for wrinkles! (Ssshhh, no telling.)
