Original Paintings for cactus lovers

Do you love houseplants? I sure do! I started my cactus collection back in college. At that time (late 90s) the vintage bohemian apartment filled with plants was not trendy, it was just what we did since our landlords wouldn’t let us have pets. But now……..now they are all the rage.
I love the plant trend personally, since I’ve collected cacti and succulents for decades.

This small series of mini canvases is the first Cactus Odyssey at Lake & River Studio. I doubt it will be the last.

Sizes range from 12×12 inches for the largest, down to 4×4 inches for several of the smallest pieces. All pieces are on stretched cotton canvas painted with acrylic paints, acrylic inks, water based inks, and various paint pens. Detailing has been done with brushes, droppers, and acrylic paint pens.

This Cactus Odyssey is a fiesta of bright colors, fun layers, and intricate markings.
All minis are one of a kind original paintings with no available prints.
