What better time of year to to snuggle under some new sheets and blankets? How you dress your bed will set the tone of your whole bedroom. The bed is your largest piece of furniture and the focal point of the room, so why not indulge in bedding with style? Take the hassle out of picking your bed linens with Beyond Bedding!
Beyond bedding has bedding for the whole family, but has a particularly great selection of kids bed linens. From cribs and toddler beds to teen styles, Beyond Bedding has something for everyone. When I first saw the Turquoise and Lime Hooty Owl toddler set, I knew it would be perfect for my son’s room! We have a bit of a thing for owls in this house, not to mention green and blue, so it was a great set for transitioning our toddler to some real bedding instead of just a crib sheet.
The JoJo Designs Turquoise and Lime Hooty Owl Toddler bedding set comes with five pieces which include: one white fitted sheet, one white flat sheet with green dot trim, one white pillow case with green dot trim, one quilted pillow sham with owl print, and one quilted comforter with owl print.
Dimensions:
- Toddler Comforter (48in. x 60in.)
- Standard Sham (20in. x 26in.)
- Standard Pillowcase (20in. x 30in.)
- Fitted Sheet (28in. x 52in.)
- Flat Sheet (42in. x 70in.)
The embroidery around the owls and branches is nice quality and can hold up to a lot of washes. My kids are rough on their blankets and I sometimes need to wash them every single day because of accidents, so I definitely need something that is made to last. I am actually rather impressed with the stitching on this set considering the price.
The pillow case and pillow sham are sized to fit a full sized standard pillow. I actually do not have a standard sized pillow for the two year old, so I stuffed two small pillows into the sham. The sham is quilted and has a soft suede cloth tree branch with a perched owl.
The quilted comforter is super cute and has two more suede cloth tree branches with leaves and brightly colored owls. The owl scene is surrounded by a ribbon of green with white polka dots and framed by turquoise cotton.
The back of the comforter and sham have the green backing with white dots like the edging of the sheets and pillow case.
We haven’t taken the side off of our toddler’s crib yet ( I am not ready for him to have so much freedom!), but this set fits perfectly! The fitted and flat sheets fit on the crib mattress with ease and the comforter is just big enough to tuck around the mattress without being cumbersome. The lightweight cotton and medium weight batting offers just the right amount of warmth for a a little boy in fleece jammies, sleeping in a chilly room.
I particularly like the price point for the toddler bedding available at Beyond Bedding. There are higher quality sets out there, but for a steep price. I always have though it is ridiculous to spend $250 or more on crib or toddler sets when they are used for just a short time and too small to move to another bed. This set is only $89.99, which is a decent price for the quality.
Beyond Bedding also has a lot of room accessories available to match most of their bedding sets! I could redo his whole room in the Hooty Owl with the matching wall art, laundry hamper, lamp shades, and more. They have adorable crib sets and accessories and you could easily decorate an entire nursery in a single order.
Update: Beyond Bedding was fine, but I must say JoJo Designs brand toddler bedding falls apart fairly quickly.

I love the bright colors and it’s perfect with the yellow crib!
That is such adorable bedding!
Love the owls and bright colors. I agree, it is so important to have durable blankets especially when potty training.
