The Adapt-a-Snap kit can convert a snapping diaper into an aplix diaper. It comes with a center strip with several snaps to affix to the front panel of the diaper. There are also two tabs that can snap onto the wings. The tabs allow for aplix crossover, which can essentially make your cloth diaper far more adjustable.
As you can see below, the Adapt-a-Snap has the potential to work on any snapping diaper with parallel snaps on the wings or tabs. While it fits perfectly with the GoGreen pocket diaper, it also works with several other brands.
The crossover ability can really help during those phases when your baby seems between snap settings.
I tried the Adapt-A-Snap on a GoGreen diaper on my son. It snapped onto the diaper easily and the Velcro is easy to maneuver. The Velcro doesn’t touch any skin and stays strongly fixed.
When it was time to remove the diaper, I pulled the Adapt-A-Snap off with one hand and set it aside for the next diaper.
Of course the biggest bonus of the Adapt-a-Snap to me is the ability to make my love for snapping diapers more user friendly for relatives and babysitters. I love snaps for the durability and look, but they can be intimidating or confusing for some people. Especially people who do not deal with diaper shells every day. This product is a fantastic way for me to alter my stash for other people without having to purchase additional diapers. I think an Adapt-a-Snap is a great accessory for daycare, babysitters, or even a spouse if you have different preferences in diaper closures.
The other thing I love about the Adapt-a-Snap, is I can take it off before the diaper goes in the washing machine. One of the reasons I dislike some “Velcro” closures is the diaper chain or snake. The “velcro” tabs on some diapers come undone in the wash and stick to other diapers forming a big jumbled diaper blob. This can wear out the closures and is an all around nuisance. Adapt-a-Snap lets me simply remove the aplix part.

Do you know if you can still get the adapt a snap set any where? I have tried and tried to find it online but have had no luck and I really want to convert my 24 GoGreen Diapers to Velcro. Any help would be great- thanks
Unfortunately, I think they have closed up shop for good, so retailers are unable to get a hold of any more adapt a snaps. ;(
