Incredibum is a cloth diaper and accessories brand that originated in 2011. Their products include cloth diapers, wipes, wet bags, and inserts. Their new cloth diapers are one size and have snap-in bamboo inserts.
Incredibum wet bags are completely reversible giving each bag two color options. The current color choices are Ocean/Firecracker, Firecracker/Sunshine, and Sunshine/Caterpillar.
These wet bags come in two sizes: small and large. The small bag can hold 3-5 diapers and the large is great for a diaper pail. I really like the size of the small bag. Some wet bags claim to hold 3-5 diapers, but it really only is true for newborn prefolds. This bag is a nice size. I found it could comfortably hold as many as eight newborn diapers or four toddler diapers.
This bag has a drawstring closure, which made me leery at first. However, since it is reversible and has the double layer of PUL fabric (polyurethane laminate) the drawstring is very sturdy. The double fabric and thick cord created an impressive seal.
I was not convinced a drawstring could hold leaky diapers at bay. I assumed this type of closure would be a disaster for urine soaked cloth diapers so I decided to conduct a small experiment with the wet bag. I soaked a small hand towel in water and placed it dripping wet into the wet bag and secured the drawstring as tight as it goes. I then hung the bag upside down on a towel bar with a clothes pin.
I left it hanging like this for 24 hours, checking the bag every two hours for any signs of water leaking out the opening. No leaks! There was no moisture around the opening at all and the towel was still wet. That tight drawstring and double PUL work great for keeping the diaper odor in the bag as well.
I really like these wet bags. They are fantastic quality and really convenient.
This wet bag would be perfect for tossing in the stroller for a long walk or outings to the park or mall. I am looking forward to bringing it to the pool when it warms up outside. The only change I would make is to add more color options. I would love to see one with lime green on one side and hot pink on the other. They could call it Key lime/Watermelon.
